Existential Thinkers...

This sculpture is by Rodin and is located on the grounds of his villa, in Paris. It's my favorite sculpture on earth.  It's very thought provoking.  It stands about 10 feet high.  The smaller version of Rodin's famous thinker atop the doorway looking down at the carnage between humans & demons, as if to ponder what path he's going to choose. The group of 3 angels on top of the doorway praying for all involved. Is so captivating & challenges you to gaze upon it. Pontificate to yourself the thoughts one might imagine if you were the thinker. I wondered if he was able to feel & or hear the prayers being lifted up to the Lord just a short distance away from him. I wonder what any of us would think if the veil was lifted from our eyes and we could see such a moment.....
