Ladies and Gentlemen, this is Tibet... Full of beauty and breathtaking view, literally and figuratively. The view was so emotionally captivating that I asked my guide to stop the car and let me out so I could take this shot. Since the road is narrow and on a curve, he stopped a few hundred meters away. As I tried to run to get this photo lined up, I realized just how high up in the air we were. I couldn’t run for more than 40 meters before wanting to puke for the lack of oxygen. Standing at 16,000+ feet, I couldn’t help taking the time to frame the 7,000 meter peaks reflecting off the lake. In all my travels, I've never been so blessed as I was to see this. Looking carefully, you can see a farmer walking his goats along the lake next to the road. To think that in this over developed world of ours anything could be still long enough to showcase such a reflection is absolutely unimaginable. It's no wonder the P.R.C. has taken over Tibet. There is no view that comes close to comparison in China unless you like SMOG. However, the effect on your lungs is pretty similar…
